About the Presenter

Maria Gindidis is a teacher educator at Monash University with over 30 years experience in K-12 LOTE classrooms. She has extensively worked as a PD trainer and consultant in government, independent and catholic schools across Victoria covering Literacy across the Curriculum, LOTE Method, Thinking Curriculum, Professional Issues and Educational Contexts. She has supervised teachers involved with Action Research LOTE projects in the M.Ed. courses.
Maria is also an international education and conference speaker on topics involving the practical integration of multimedia and engaging learners in the crucial Middle Years across all Key Learning Areas. She is also founder and Principal of a part-time Language Centre, a language school operating for over 29 years with a current enrolment of 580 students K- 12.  Maria is also a Herrmann Brain Trainer and has recently trained with Eric Jensen in San Antonio, USA
