During this professional learning session, participants will work with a range of technologies that are readily available for use in the classroom.
This hands-on workshop will allow teachers to experience the way that software and strategies, such as OneNote, Google Earth, digital storytelling, animation tools, Web 2.0 technology and screen capturing tools for effective feedback, can be used to enhance learning in literacy.


About the Presenter

Natalie Morrissey is an ICT Education Specialist and a former school teacher/ICT Coordinator. In her current role Natalie works with schools and teachers Australia wide on the integration of ICT into all areas of the curriculum by ensuring that schools are effectively
incorporating this into their planning and teaching. She has presented at numerous conferences Australia wide and works closely with Microsoft Partners in Learning Australia and the Victorian Department of Education and Early Childhood Development. Natalie believes that it is essential for teachers to incorporate technology into their teaching as this is fundamental to student learning in the 21st century. She believes that teachers need to provide students with contemporary learning environments that foster rich experiences and enable the best learning for every student.
