About the Presenter

Ron Thomas has 25 years experience in secondary schools teaching: English, Literature and Drama. He is a graduate of the Diploma in Non Fiction Writing and Editing. He is a published author of Travel and Feature Articles in: 'Sunday Age',
'Adelaide Advertiser', 'Senior Travel' and 'Travelling Tales' magazine and is (sob) an unpublished poet. As a Gold Level Toastmaster he has written dozens of speeches across all genres specialising in humorous speeches. Ron has taught writing skills to
remedial through to gifted students and from year 7 to year 12. He has initiated a Global Novel between Australian, US and Russian students that won him the iEARN Australia Scholarship to the International Conference in Taiwan. Ron is an experienced facilitator with a highly interactive methodology and lively activities. You won't be bored!
