This full-day workshop will look at the needs of diverse learners and how teachers can cater for their literacy needs in the regular classroom.
• Investigate 'learning' and how to maximise it in their classrooms.
• Learn about best practice in differentiated instruction in literacy
• Learn about differentiation for the struggling and the gifted students in their classrooms through differing products, procedures and pathways to learning literacy
• Take away useful and practical strategies to apply in their own classrooms.

About the Presenter
With over 35 years of experience in education as a Principal, University Professor, School Reviewer and Educational Consultant both in Australia and the United States, Ian Hauser remains primarily a teacher. He works in classrooms every week, working to test strategies, further develop pedagogy and enhance student engagement in literacy learning. His passion for teaching comes with a sense of humour and he is firm in his belief that engagement is the secret to developing a truly effective teaching-learning environment.
