Responding to and Managing Extreme Behaviours S1

The first webinar in a series of 3 explores the definition and context of extreme behaviours in the mainstream classroom. Participants will explore the root causes of challenging behaviours and the latest neuroscience that may go someway to explaining why the developing brain is capable of producing such explosive and often violent responses.

This webinar will explore a framework that has a 3 tiered approach to responding to extreme behaviours and includes an extensive handout called the 10 step functional behaviour intervention with a range of support documents that participants can implement immediately.
