Boy Problems: Getting Beyond the Behaviour Management Cycle
Create a respectful, inclusive school environment for all students!
In every co-ed school across Australia, teachers are frustrated by the disruptive behaviour of boys, which not only hinders learning but also perpetuates harmful gender stereotypes. Unaddressed, this behaviour risks fostering cycles of aggression, academic underachievement, and emotional suppression with long-term consequences.
It’s time to take decisive action. This workshop focuses on implementing eleven highly focused strategies to change the direction of boys’ behaviour in your school:
- Create Clear Behavioural Expectations
- Foster Inclusive Classroom Activities
- Address Stereotypes and Bias
- Implement Emotional Literacy Programs
- Provide Academic Support and Engagement
- Promote Positive Role Models
- Teach Digital Literacy in Every Learning Area
- Provide Access to Mental Health Resources
- Engage Parents and Guardians
- Develop Student-Led Initiatives
- Conduct Regular Evaluations and Adjustments
Leave with clear action steps and strategies to implement a cohesive, proactive approach rather than reacting to problems as they arise. Join us to foster a respectful, supportive educational experience for all students!
