Brain, Behaviour and how to maximise remote learning benefits -Thursday night 7.30pm – 9.00pm – Live Webinar

Brain, Behaviour and how to maximise remote learning benefits.

Explore essential facts about your kid’s brains and behaviour so that you can understand how to resource your kids (and their behaviour) in these challenging times. Understand the role of the learning brain and primitive lower brain systems in effecting regulation capacity, behavioural symptoms and learning ability, and how experiences of trauma and toxic stress affect brain function and behaviour. Learn practical tools to help strengthen resilience, whole brain integration and calm anxiety and stress in the nervous system, to help your kids improve their attention, focus, memory and engagement.  Come away with lots of practical tools, strategies and resources that will support your kids to manage the changes to their life, education and routines as they learn from home. This training includes a comprehensive list of online resources to aid learning from home.

This live webinar is for parents teachers feeling anxious about their kids learning from home and all the extra challenges of living with Covid-19.

Join Clinical Play Therapist and parent educator, Sian Chambers-Vallance and her husband, Tony Vallance, Australian Education Awards Teacher of the Year 2019, as they take you through proven coping strategies that will enable you to resource yourselves and your kids in maintaining positive mental health, resilience, wellbeing and home learning during these challenging times.
