Build the EQ foundations that fuel trust, cohesion, and team performance
Emotional Intelligence (EQ) is increasingly recognised as a defining attribute of exceptional leadership.
Research highlights that leaders who understand the impact of emotions in the workplace are the ones who build stronger relationships, navigate challenges with clarity, and bring out the best in their teams.
By managing their own emotions and responding thoughtfully to others, emotionally intelligent leaders create cultures of trust, motivation and high performance.
This workshop explores the core ‘competencies’ that underpin emotionally intelligent leadership.
Core Topics:
- What Emotional Intelligence (EQ) Is – A clear overview of EQ
- The Origins and Evolution of EQ – A brief look at where EQ came from and why it matters today
- How Low‑EQ Leadership Can Negatively Impact a Team – How poor emotional awareness leads to mistrust, conflict, and reduced performance
- Why EQ Matters When Leading and Influencing Others – How emotionally intelligent leadership strengthens influence, communication, and team outcomes
- Understanding Emotions in the Context of Leadership – How emotions drive behaviour and shape team culture—and why leaders must recognise them
