This Dyslexia, Dysgraphia & Dyscalculia workshop will cover –

What is Dyslexia

  • What is Dysgraphia
  • What is Dyscalculia
  • Characteristics
  • Known causes for each Specific Learning Disorders
  • Up-to-date DSM-5TR Diagnosis explanation
  • Strategies and Ideas for success in your classroom
  • Resources

Specific Learning Disorders are neurodevelopmental disorders that are characterised by continual impairment in at least one of three main areas: reading, written expression and/or math.

There are mixed numbers around how many Australian people are dyslexic – somewhere between 10% and 20% of the population would be expected, but the real number may be much higher as many persons have not yet been diagnosed. This equates to somewhere between 2.5 & 5 million Australians having dyslexia.

Come along to this informative, interactive workshop to find out how you can further assist students with SLDs in your classroom.
