EAL Reading and Writing Strategies for Independence and Focus Group Work

Reading and writing can be the biggest challenge for EAL students and teachers with a significant dependence on language. This PD will explore making connections, guiding purposeful reading, predicting, visualising and inferring. You will be supported to ensure that your students are reaching and understanding reading content and utilising the powerful connection of reading and writing. As well as this, we will be delving into best practice in teaching writing for English language learners.

Just a big Thank you for giving us the opportunity to attend the Critical Agenda Workshop yesterday.  David presented a great program, lots of handy strategies and he was very engaging and supportive. Highly recommended.  I was very happy we did not have to do any Role play’s.
