Booking Conditions

No applications for this program will be accepted after all vacancies have been filled. Unsuccessful applicants will have their monies refunded in full. Cancellation prior to two weeks before the program date (cut-off date) will incur a 15% service charge per applicant. This program will be payable in full for cancellations made on or after the cut-off date or for failure to attend the program. All cancellations must be in writing and emailed to us. In the event of insufficient applications this program will not proceed and registration monies be fully refunded. In the event of this program being cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances registration monies only will be refunded as Critical Agendas will not accept liability for the payment of any other associated costs. Critical Agendas reserves the right to vary the advertised programs prior to commencement. Please note Critical Agendas reserves the right to transfer participants from face to face to webinar format with price adjustments (if required), should minimum numbers not be met for face to face event

From Theory to Practice: Creating an Inclusive Framework for High Ability and Gifted Learners June

This workshop explores the essential components of a successful High Achievers/Gifted Learners Program. This workshop will provide evidence-based strategies for creating an inclusive framework that supports high-ability and gifted learners’ academic and social-emotional needs. Participants will learn how to develop a program that reflects the school’s vision and mission and is tailored to meet the needs of their unique student population.

Through interactive activities and case studies, participants will gain a deeper understanding of how to identify and support high-ability and gifted learners and provide equitable access to resources and opportunities. Participants will leave the workshop with practical tools and strategies for building an inclusive framework to help their school community evolve and sustain a successful High Achievers/Gifted Learners Program.

Pam Burton

Pam Burton’s interest, experience and expertise in educating students at all levels is reflected in her broad teaching and consultancy career. She is a celebrated presenter and author who works extensively with students, teachers and organisations in the areas of leadership, brain compatible learning, boys’ education, literacy, gifted education, creative and critical thinking, learning styles, multiple intelligences and cooperative learning. She has been a lecturer in Gifted Education at Deakin University, a presenter in the Bright Sparks and Women in Leadership programs and numerous other programs at Deakin University.
