No application for this program will be accepted after all vacancies have been filled. Unsuccessful applicants will have any monies paid refunded in full. Cancellations prior to the Thursday 20th February, 2020 will incur a 25% service charge per applicant. This program will be payable in full for cancellations made on or after the 20/02/2020 or for failure to attend the program.
All cancellations must be made in writing and emailed to us.
In the event of insufficient applications this program will not proceed and registration monies paid will be fully refunded. Critical Agendas will not be accepting liability for the payment of any other associated costs.

Glen Pearsall

Glen Pearsall is a leading secondary school teacher and an acclaimed presenter of professional development for classroom teachers across Australia. Glen has a particular interest in the development of young teachers and has also developed and delivered a program of renewal for mid-career teachers. His expertise is in high quality instructional practice, and the development of classroom cultures based on sound pedagogy and educational research. He has been a board member of the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority, and has worked as a research fellow at the Australian Youth Research Centre. He is also the author of the highly acclaimed “And Gladly Teach”, an inspirational and practical book on creating supportive and cooperative classrooms.

Miranda Marriott

Miranda Marriott is an engaging speaker and facilitator, with over 12 years of experience in the Health and Wellbeing industry. She understands schools, teachers and students and how to best support and communicate with them as she has worked as the head of wellbeing, a year level coordinator and Psychology teacher. Miranda has completed post- graduate studies in Education, Life Coaching and Commerce (Human Resources), along with a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology and Counselling). She is a skilled communicator as she spoken to Whole Schools, Year Levels, Teachers, TAFEs and Corporates and has studied public speaking. Miranda is passionate about wellbeing for both staff and students because she has seen the profound impact that these insights and strategies have had.

Tony Vallance

Tony is an experienced teacher, trainer and passionate changemaker in contemporary skills learning.  He has received State and National awards for his work in student centred STEAM curriculum, student engagement and learning space creation. In 2019 Tony was awarded ‘Teacher of the Year’ at the

Australian Education Awards. He has an infectious enthusiasm and his workshops are fun, engaging and extremely practical. He is passionate about sharing the techniques and evidence based strategies that have yielded such high student engagement and outcomes in the contemporary learning sphere.
