Python 3D Games made easy with Ursina Engine

Over the past 5 years Python has established itself as the most popular programming language for the classroom both in Australia and around the world. It is simple to use, easy to learn and has an abundance of free learning resources. The only drawback of Python in terms of secondary schools was that it was not considered very engaging for mainstream students because of very basic text inputs and outputs. This PD is about making Python off the charts exciting with the brand new Ursina 3D Game Development Engine. You will learn how to build two engaging games with one 2D and one 3D with scoring, escalating difficulty and dynamic graphics. The best part you will have classroom tested thorough teacher lesson plans and student handouts for both games

 Session 1: Introduction to Ursina

Session 2: Creating the 2D Breakout Game

Session 3: Creating the 3D Maze Game with Minecraft Style Graphics
