Sustaining the welcoming face of your school
Are you the smiling front of house or support role at your school but feeling tired, run down and overwhelmed? In Australia almost 4 in 5 school staff may experience a mental health difficulty in their life. Reception and administration staff roles are faced with competing demands, managing staff expectations, and frustrations from parents and the community.
Move beyond stress and burnout to create a sustainable, productive and fulfilling work life.
It’s time to look after you so you can enjoy your work. Knowing how to navigate heightened emotions in others, how to tackle difficult conversations, and manage your workload while limiting your stress is a skill.
This workshop will help you to:
- Sustain your ability to provide a warm and welcoming face for your school community.
- Managing your own stress in the midst of a challenging job.
- Focus on what is in your control and navigate competing priorities.
- Develop positive communication skills to tackle difficult conversations for success.
