Booking Conditions

No applications for this program will be accepted after all vacancies have been filled. Unsuccessful applicants will have their monies refunded in full. Cancellation prior to two weeks before the program date (cut-off date) will incur a 15% service charge per applicant. This program will be payable in full for cancellations made on or after the cut-off date or for failure to attend the program. All cancellations must be in writing and emailed to us. In the event of insufficient applications this program will not proceed and registration monies be fully refunded. In the event of this program being cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances registration monies only will be refunded as Critical Agendas will not accept liability for the payment of any other associated costs. Critical Agendas reserves the right to vary the advertised programs prior to commencement. Please note Critical Agendas reserves the right to transfer participants from face to face to webinar format with price adjustments (if required), should minimum numbers not be met for face to face event

As we adapt to the refinements in the Victorian Curriculum 2.0, this interactive workshop offers an opportunity to recalibrate your approach to curriculum documentation and planning.

In this workshop, you’ll explore the essential components that ensure a guaranteed and viable curriculum across all learning areas from Foundation to Year 10. You’ll learn how to align your planning and documentation with the updated Australian and Victorian standards through evidence-based curriculum planning practices.

  • Vic Curric. 2.0 What’s different, and what is the same?
  • Developing comprehensive scope and sequence documentation
  • Designing units using the Backwards by Design approach
  • Creating effective lesson plans
  • Implementing Common Assessment Tasks

Pam Burton’s interest, experience and expertise in educating students at all levels is reflected in her broad teaching and consultancy career. She is a celebrated presenter and author who works extensively with students, teachers and organisations in the areas of leadership, brain compatible learning, boys’ education, literacy, gifted education, creative and critical thinking, learning styles, multiple intelligences and cooperative learning. She has been a lecturer in Gifted Education at Deakin University, a presenter in the Bright Sparks and Women in Leadership programs and numerous other programs at Deakin University.
