Nadia Abdelal
Nadia Abdelal is a mathematics educator, writer, presenter and coach with a rich background and a deep passion for the subject. With nearly two decades of teaching experience, Nadia has made significant contributions to the field of mathematics education. She is an experienced teacher and accomplished author, having written multiple maths resources. Her work has been recognised and featured in various mathematics and educational publications.
Nadia’s expertise as a maths education specialist, extends over seven years and involves supporting primary and secondary schools across Australia. She has been instrumental in enhancing mathematics teaching practices and curriculum design. Her teaching approach is both conceptual and contextual, emphasising engaging and explicit mathematical designs. These designs are tailored to foster differentiation and inclusion in classrooms, ranging from Foundation to Year 10.
As the CEO and Founder of EM Maths Consulting, Nadia continues to work with schools and educational organisations across Australia encouraging and promoting the discourse on effective mathematics teaching and learning strategies.
