Naima Keddar
Naima Keddar is an experienced IB educator, French examiner, and Evaluation Leader with over 18 years of expertise in teaching Language B and Language Ab Initio. She currently serves as Head of Teaching and Learning and Diploma Programme Coordinator at the Australian International Academy, where she leads strategic academic improvement across programmes.
As an IB French Examiner, Naima brings deep insight into global assessment standards, moderation practices, and performance trends in language acquisition. In her role as an Evaluation Leader, she supports schools in aligning practice with IB Programme Standards and Practices, strengthening assessment literacy and quality assurance processes.
Naima is also a VCAA Oral Assessor, further enriching her expertise in performance-based language assessment and criterion-referenced marking. She holds two master’s degrees one in Econometrics and one in Education — combining analytical rigour with strong pedagogical foundations.
Her work focuses on building student confidence in speaking, improving assessment reliability, and supporting teachers in developing consistent, criteria-aligned language programmes. She is passionate about fostering reflective practice, academic integrity, and internationally minded learning communities.
