Tata Survi has been teaching in Australia since 2002 in both the state and private systems. Tata is the driving force behind the AIAV immersion courses, run in Jogjakarta in connection with Pandu Language School. He was a member of the team that brought about the first student ex change to Jogjakarta in January 2009, which continues annually to the present.
Tata Survi is the co-editor and producer of widely used Indonesian textbooks “Saling-Silang 1” and “Saling-Silang 2”.
Tata Survi has been involved in VCE programs both for Indonesian as First Language and Indonesian as Second Language as an assessor and setter. He is currently an Indonesian teacher at Huntingtower School, a school with a very strong Indonesian program.
