Creating High-Quality Rubrics

This workshop identifies how to use curriculum standards to craft targeted and authentic rubrics.

The core purpose and elements of a high quality rubric will be identified and explored.

Teachers will learn how to use the rubric as a learning tool for formative assessment and summative assessment. They will explore the role of the student at each stage of the learning process.

Teachers will create a rubric based on a topic that is to be taught and share their results.

(This workshop targets curriculum leaders and all Primary and Secondary teachers)
