Cultivating Excellence: Differentiating for High Achievers in the Classroom

In this workshop, teachers and school leaders will learn effective strategies to differentiate instruction for high achievers. You’ll explore how to design tasks that require higher-order thinking and engage learners in complex content, while still meeting the needs of all learners. You’ll also learn how to use evidence-based research to differentiate instruction and provide equitable access to resources and opportunities.

Through interactive activities and case studies, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of how to identify and support high-ability learners, and how to create a challenging and engaging learning environment that supports their academic and social-emotional needs. You’ll leave the workshop with practical tools and strategies that you can implement immediately in your classroom.

(This workshop targets curriculum leaders, High Ability Practice Leaders, Gifted and Talented Coordinators and interested teachers of high-ability and gifted learners; Primary and Secondary)
