Andrew Douch
ANDREW DOUCH is the recipient of the Microsoft Worldwide Innovative Teacher of the Year Award. He also received the Victorian Education Excellence Award for curriculum innovation, an Australian Government Quality Schooling Award, plus a number of other awards, each recognising his innovative approaches to teaching and learning – especially in the area of remote and blended learning.
As an education consultant and keynote presenter, he helps teachers amplify their impact on student learning by inspiring new thinking about teaching effectively in a technology-rich world. He is also well known for his revision lectures in Biology, for his biology podcast and the video lessons he teaches online in Edrolo, which are regularly watched by more than 80% of Victoria’s year 12 biology students.
He loves to use and share simple technology and ideas that make a big difference to the learning experience of students.

I really enjoyed the small group size. The sessions were interactive and we not only saw Glenn demonstrate how he would use strategies himself but we heard from other educators on their challenges and thoughts and also saw video examples from other schools. I find this multi modal style of presentation much more engaging. It was also appreciated to have a copy of the book to take back to school and access to the online platform.
